The total estimated duration for this UX UI Designer engagement is 11 weeks from the date of contract signing. All milestones will be coordinated from our office in South Africa Cape Town, with regular in-person meetings available at the client's premises within the Cape Town metropolitan area. Virtual collaboration tools (Miro, Figma, Slack, Jira) will be used for day-to-day communication.
- 30% deposit (R 161,028.75) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and signing of the service agreement.
- 40% milestone payment (R 214,705.00) due upon completion of UI Visual Design and Interactive Prototyping (Week 7).
- 30% final payment (R 161,028.75) due upon project sign-off and delivery of all final assets.
- All payments to be made via EFT to Cape Design Studio (Pty) Ltd, First National Bank, Cape Town Branch. Account details provided upon contract execution.
- Late payments will attract interest at 2% per month as per South African National Credit Act provisions.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, rates may be revised due to market conditions in the South Africa Cape Town design sector.
- All intellectual property rights to final deliverables transfer to the client upon full payment. Source files (Figma, Adobe XD) will be handed over in editable format.
- The UX UI Designer team will adhere to the South African Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) when handling any user data collected during research and testing phases.
- Up to two (2) rounds of revisions are included per deliverable. Additional revision cycles will be billed at R 1,850 per hour.
- Scope changes exceeding 10% of the original estimate will require a formal change order and revised Quotation Estimate before work proceeds.
- Cape Design Studio (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to decline or terminate the engagement with 14 days written notice if the client fails to meet agreed payment schedules.
- All work is subject to the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through mediation in Cape Town, Western Cape, before escalation to the High Court.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have signed and returned the acceptance section below.
