- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the validity period, the Veterinarian practice reserves the right to re-assess and adjust costs based on prevailing market rates in Cape Town, South Africa.
- A deposit of 40% (R 17,305.20) is required to secure the surgical date and reserve the operating theatre. The remaining balance of 60% (R 25,957.80) is due within seven (7) calendar days following the completion of the surgical procedure.
- Payment may be made via EFT to our practice bank account (Bank: FNB, Account: 624 089 1234, Branch: 250 655), or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). A 2.5% surcharge applies to credit card transactions.
- All veterinary procedures will be performed in accordance with the standards set by the Veterinary Medical Council of South Africa (VMC) and the Animal Welfare Act (Act 71 of 1992) as applicable in the Western Cape province.
- The Veterinarian team will provide a detailed written post-operative care plan, including feeding instructions, activity restrictions, wound care guidelines, and physiotherapy exercises to be followed at home in Cape Town.
- Should additional procedures or treatments become necessary during the surgical intervention that were not anticipated at the time of this Quotation Estimate, the client will be contacted (or their authorised representative) for written consent before any additional costs are incurred.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of a specific medical outcome. The Veterinarian practice will exercise all reasonable professional care and skill in the treatment of the animal, consistent with accepted veterinary standards in South Africa.
- Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the services rendered shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate's Court of Cape Town, South Africa.
- Client personal information and veterinary records are protected in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Act 4 of 2013, of South Africa.
