Terms and Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Savanna Vet Clinic, a registered veterinary practice operating in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the validity period, a revised Quotation Estimate may be required to reflect any changes in pricing, medication costs, or availability of surgical implants.
All veterinary services described in this Quotation Estimate will be performed by qualified, registered veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are members of the Veterinary Council of South Africa (VCSA) and the South African Veterinary Association (SAVA). The lead surgeon for the orthopaedic procedure is a board-certified veterinary orthopaedic specialist with over fifteen years of experience in Johannesburg.
Payment terms: A deposit of 50% (R 28,899.50) is required to confirm the surgical booking and secure the operating theatre schedule. The remaining balance of 50% (R 28,899.50) is due within seven (7) business days following the completion of the final follow-up consultation. Payment may be made via EFT to our bank account, credit card, or direct debit. No cash payments are accepted for amounts exceeding R 25,000 in compliance with South African financial regulations.
Should the veterinarian, during the pre-operative assessment, identify additional conditions or complications that were not apparent at the time this Quotation Estimate was prepared, a supplementary Quotation Estimate will be issued and presented to the client for written approval before any additional procedures are undertaken. No additional costs will be incurred without the client's explicit consent.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of surgical outcome. While our veterinary team in South Africa Johannesburg adheres to the highest standards of surgical practice and post-operative care, all surgical procedures carry inherent risks. A detailed informed consent form, outlining all potential risks, complications, and alternative treatments, will be provided to the client prior to the procedure.
The client acknowledges that the veterinary services described herein are subject to the Veterinary Medical and Paraveterinary Professions Act (Act 19 of 2011) of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the services rendered shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Johannesburg.
Confidentiality: All medical records, diagnostic images, and treatment information pertaining to the client's pet will be maintained in strict confidence in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. Records will be retained for a minimum of five (5) years.
This Quotation Estimate is non-transferable and is prepared specifically for the client and pet named herein. It may not be used as a guarantee of pricing for any other animal or service.
