1. Scope of Work — Welder Services in Colombia Medellín
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Andina Welding Solutions S.A.S. to provide comprehensive Welder services for the structural steel fabrication project located in the Medellín metropolitan area, Colombia. Our team of certified welders will execute all welding operations in strict compliance with Colombian technical standards (NTC), AWS D1.1 structural welding codes, and the specific engineering drawings provided by the client.
- Structural steel welding (S355 and S275 grades) using SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes for primary and secondary structural members.
- Welding of base plates, gussets, stiffeners, and connection details for the warehouse steel frame.
- Repair welding and touch-up of pre-fabricated components delivered from the Medellín fabrication yard.
- Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) coordination: visual inspection (VT) and magnetic particle inspection (MT) on 100% of critical welds.
- Welding procedure specification (WPS) development and welder qualification testing (PQR/WPQ) per AWS D1.1 and NTC 5015.
- On-site supervision by a senior Welder Engineer holding AWS CWI certification for the full duration of the project.

3. Project Duration & Schedule
The total execution period for this Welder contract in Colombia Medellín is estimated at three (3) calendar months, commencing upon receipt of the signed purchase order and mobilization approval. The schedule will be coordinated with the client's general contractor to align with the structural erection sequence. Weekly progress reports will be submitted every Friday to the project manager in Medellín.
4. Payment Terms
Payment shall be made in three (3) equal installments of COP 44,863,000 each, due at the following milestones: (a) 30% upon mobilization and WPS approval; (b) 40% upon completion of 60% of total weld length verified by NDT; (c) 30% upon final acceptance and delivery of as-built documentation. Payment terms are net 15 days from invoice date, via bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
5. Terms & Conditions
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the issue date. After expiration, prices may be adjusted to reflect market fluctuations in welding consumables and labor costs in the Medellín region.
5.2 All welder personnel shall comply with Colombian labor law (Código Sustantivo del Trabajo), including mandatory social security contributions (pensión, salud, ARL) and occupational health and safety regulations (Resolución 0312 de 2019).
5.3 The client is responsible for providing safe access to the work area, adequate lighting, and ventilation at the welding stations in accordance with NTC 5015 and local Medellín municipal safety ordinances.
5.4 Any change in scope, additional weld length exceeding 10% of the estimated total, or modification of steel grade shall be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued within five (5) business days.
5.5 Disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation in the city of Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia, in accordance with Colombian civil and commercial law.
5.6 Andina Welding Solutions S.A.S. maintains a minimum of COP 500,000,000 in general liability insurance and ARL coverage for all welder personnel assigned to this project.
6. Acceptance & Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Welder services in Colombia Medellín, agreeing to all terms, conditions, pricing, and the project schedule outlined herein.
