- This Quotation Estimate is a firm offer for the Welder services described herein and is binding upon written acceptance by the client within the validity period stated above.
- All welding work in Sri Lanka Colombo shall be executed by welders holding valid Sri Lankan Welder Certification (SLWC) and, where applicable, international qualifications (ASME IX / AWS D1.1).
- Payment Terms: 40% advance upon signing, 40% upon completion of 75% of the welding scope, and 20% upon final handover and NDT clearance. Payments are due within 14 days of invoice date.
- The client shall provide a safe and accessible work environment at the Colombo site, including necessary scaffolding, electrical supply (3-phase, 415V), and ventilation as required for the Welder to operate safely.
- Any variation or change order to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing and will be priced separately as an addendum to this Quotation Estimate.
- Warranty: A 12-month workmanship warranty is provided on all welded joints. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, corrosion, or third-party interference after handover.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until countersigned by both parties. All terms are subject to the general terms of Ceylon Precision Welding & Fabrication (Pvt) Ltd.
Upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, the Welder team will be mobilized to the Sri Lanka Colombo site within 5 working days. The estimated duration for completion of all welding and fabrication tasks is 8 weeks, subject to site readiness and weather conditions. A detailed Gantt chart and weekly progress report will be submitted to the client every Friday.
