1. This Quotation Estimate is issued by Midlands Precision Welding Ltd. and is binding only upon written acceptance by the client. It does not constitute a contract until both parties have signed and returned the acceptance section below.
2. All rates quoted are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT, which is applied at the current United Kingdom rate of 20%.
3. The Welder personnel assigned to this project in Birmingham, United Kingdom shall comply with all applicable United Kingdom health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
4. Payment terms: 30% deposit upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of 50% of the welding works, and the remaining 30% upon final sign-off and completion of all post-weld inspections.
5. Any variation in scope, additional Welder hours, or changes to the original specification will be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued in writing prior to commencement of the additional work.
6. Midlands Precision Welding Ltd. shall maintain full public liability insurance of not less than £10,000,000 and employer’s liability insurance of not less than £10,000,000 for the duration of the project in Birmingham, United Kingdom.
7. All welding work shall be guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance, covering defects in workmanship and materials supplied by the Welder team.
8. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Should the client wish to proceed after the expiry date, a revised Quotation Estimate reflecting current market rates for Welder services in Birmingham, United Kingdom will be issued.
9. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
10. The client shall provide safe access to the work area, adequate ventilation, and any necessary permits for hot work at the Birmingham, United Kingdom site prior to the arrival of the Welder team.
