• The Egyptian Challenge: With a rapidly growing youth population and increasing demand for accessible information, the Librarian in Alexandria must adapt to serve diverse audiences ranging from university students to local entrepreneurs.

The traditional image of a silent custodian shushing patrons is obsolete. In Alexandria, the modern Librarian is:
