January 15, 1945: Polish General Sosnkowski and Tadeusz Brzezinski, Polish consul-general in Montreal, spoke at the Canadian Congress at the White Eagle Polish Hall in Montreal and threatened war over Allies post war agreements. They disparaged American and British governments, the Kremlin, and Poland\u2019s Lublin committee. They said "an imposter regime" is being forced upon Poland by an "alien state"and that Churchill's acceptance of commitments at Teheran is "extremely unfair" and "detrimental to Poland" and unless Poland receives fair and just treatment "another war could not be avoided"
