Tamil Eelam History: Through out the war between Tamil Eelam and Sri Lanka, Tamil Tigers deployed photographers and video units to record the battle field. While other fighters fight with weapons, these media unit embedded in the fighting forces record the battles and many times they get killed or injured as well. In May 18, 2009, Tamil Tigers ceased to exist after Tamil Eelam was destroyed by genocidal Sri Lanka with support from world powers, however most of the photos, videos and documentaries created by the Tamil Tiger fighters still remain as piece of historical artifacts left to tell the story of it.
