"From Prologue To Epilogue"
by: Wes Robert Ward
"Out of breath, breathing hard. Slow to death, my life is scarred. Lying here upon my ear, wishing years ago I took life easier, now I know, so ceaseless to a wonder like a guillotine to a string. Life is funny, enriched in honey, and yet honey grows like a heavy heart torn apart by age.
Aging what a term? Like Butterflies alive one day and dead the next. Life in text is so complicated even though living is much more exaggerated. Dreading what is left to live. I gave, I got, and I still give. And yet as I still try, I cry because in the end, I die.
Dying is a word no one truly loves. There are things that it consists of like the agonizing horrendous pain and yet the beating of the rain is more healing than the bleeding. Blood can be poured, but can we not clean the sword?
Memories buried deep within come with us in the tragic end. Close your tired dreary eyes, nothing more applies. Forevermore gone is the days of yearning yore, no more opening constant doors. Many will mend and mourn, yet when you awake you are reborn.
Child, it all begins with blue skies and green grass though seasons go and pass. In the maddening end we die with the disease of death. So within your disguise be prepared for short goodbyes.
We make the best as we go along. What can be right, can never be wrong. Each step we take we age like numbers on a perplexing page. And yet there is no hurry to count. In the end it all comes to the same amount.
Buried within the books we are from prologue to epilogue, alas, we are just characters within a simple story, glory shines upon us only temporarily. What we do with it while we are well, only precious time will tell."
The End. \ud83d\udcd6
