1 - Dale and Sheila and someone\u2019s hand at their kitchen table. Dale is long gone. The house looks virtually the same.

2 - Blair, Sheila\u2019s now former live-in boyfriend, and Ida. Same room as the previous photo, and given the sign perhaps about the same time of year. Definitely a different year though. HA! The table Blair is sitting at is the same table as the previous picture, and I\u2019ll be the chair is the same too.

Ida looks like she is blowing out. Hot flash? Possible.

3 - Horace and Blair, maybe the back of Kat\u2019s head. Definitely xmas, what with the ginger bread house, lower left.

I\u2019ve always liked Sheila\u2019s house, inside and out.

5 - Karen, Kat and Sheila at a petting zoo in 1967. Kat looks a little concerned.

6 - Sheila and Dale\u2019s wedding in the backyard on Virginia Rd.

L > R - Zade (aka, Isaac), Sheila, Bube (aka, Ana), Dale (I can\u2019t believe his fucking eyes are closed), and Nanny (aka, Ada). I remember spending days prepping the house and back yard. I guess it was good.

7 - More wedding pics. Ida, Sheila, Dale (you should look scared, dude), me and Horace. I\u2019m sure that was a clip-on tie I\u2019m wearing. I wonder if Ida or someone we knew made the cake.

8 - Sheila (looking weird, if I do say so) and our mom. I don\u2019t remember our mom really being a beer drinker. Or Horace. And I hate that shit. 1974.

9 - Sheila\u2019s house in winter. She has to park up on the road (this may have been taken from the road) during much of winter. Fucking beautiful. The UBC Research Forest is just up the road a short walk. Miles of trails to walk with local animals. One time, Amanda and I saw a black bear, quite close. She was amazed at how comically big their heads are and how fast they move through the woods. Right on both counts. December, 1968.

10 - Sheila, Karin, Ida (in shadow) and David. 1962. I think this may be in Eureka. Sheila looks hella happy. I think our mom does too.
