This representation of Brahma, with four faces and four arms, was found at Angkor around the temple-mountain of Prasat Prei, to the south of the large reservoir called the Western Baray.Brahma's sampot (wraparound skirt) is in the Bakheng style (named after the Bakheng temple) of the early tenth century. It has pleated "double-anchor," or "fishtail," pendants in front; the longer, outer one hangs over the inner one. The silhouette of the torso ends abruptly at very full hips, which are encased in a garment of unexpected thickness.
