Miss Muska Benes and Zbigniew Brzezinski, whose fathers were foreign service officers for pre [and post] Communist Czechoslovakia and Poland, respectively, will be married in June in Cambridge, Mass. Announcement of their engagement has been made here by the prospective bride's mother Mrs. Emillie Benes of Berkely, Calif.
Miss Benes, grandniece of the late Eduard Benes, President of Czechoslovakia, is the daughter also of Bohus Benes of Berkeley, who was Czech Consul General in San Francisco prior to [and after] the Communist coup of 1948.
She is an alumna of Wellesely College and has studied also at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and Castle Hill Art School.
Mr. Brzezinski is the son of Dr. Tadeusz Brzezinski, Polish Consul General to Canada, 1938-1945, and Mr.s Brzezinski of Montreal. He is on the faculty of Harvard University as an instructor in government and a research fellow in the Russian Research Center. A graduate of McGill University, Montreal, he received a doctorate from Harvard.
