"While walking out in the middle of nowhere,

not knowing where I was going

or for that matter where I was leaving,

I came upon a wooden chair

in the middle of nowhere.

In an open field it stood or sat,

or whatever chairs do to pass the time.

Time is meaningless to them,

either way it was there

for how long I knew not.

Good and steady and not of rot.

It called to me in no words spoken,

to sit and watch the day pass away.

And so not afraid I took a seat

and sat there not knowing what to do.

I just sat there, twiddling my thumbs

feeling quite silent and dumb.

Then I noticed something,

something the chair was possibly

trying to tell me.

Tell me what you may say?

Tell me everything that day.

What did it want me to see?

Why God's country before me.

From top to bottom

from land to clouds.

God gave it to us all,

for one and all.

To breath

to smell.

God gave it to us all,

to live and be merry and all.

So I sat there in that chair

without a care in the world.

No worries, no stress,

with nothing more to digress.

Just me and the chair

enjoying God's earth and air."
