An astonishing example to me of just how far I DID drill into the technology; I don't recall being so exacting and meticulous about documenting anything really. To be honest, you could spend years trying to find or recreate a sound you've designed, once or if, you've deleted it or lost these details...
It was unimaginable to me as a kid, or teenager, what sorts of skills I'd need to acquire, assimilate, and come to understand, just in order to use modern keyboards and record music. If I'd have known that continuing to write tunes would require me to take these kinds of notes, let alone keep track of what they are and mean...I'd have hung it up at 18. But, we are "pulled" into the future aren't we; In my case, kicking and screaming I'm afraid.
