On the surface Sanne is an unpleasant person to be around. She's hostile towards strangers, cold and distant, always apprehensive of people she doesn't know, but that's part of her occupation. Though, once she warms up to someone (A rare enough event. She hardly ever gets comfortable with people outside of fellow rangers) they'll find that her unpleasantness extents into more casual behavior. She has no boundaries, and always makes crude jokes.

[ Bio ]
Daughter of Roza and Grim, Sanne was born and raised in Faron Woods; in a clearing dubbed the Gathering Grounds.
As a child, she balanced chores with ranger training from her father, who was ruthless in his ways but for her own sake. He taught her how to use a bow by the age of ten, how to creep and stalk unseen, how to use the knives so commonly afforded to the rangers. They traveled together on diplomatic missions around Hyrule.
She was always very timid and shy, avoiding conversations with those who came to stay at their outpost, and this didn't go away as she neared her teens and her father picked up an apprentice. The half Gerudo Crow became a permanent installment in her life, a constant friend she eventually warmed up to and was able to interact with freely so long as they were alone. They might have had a romance, but it was short lived as Crow graduated from his apprenticeship and was sent to the Upper Eldin province.
And of course, years later, when Sanne was nearly fifteen, Grim took on another apprentice named Garth, an orphan from Castle Town. Another crush ensued with the boy, and they spent quite a bit of time together. By the time Garth graduated from his apprenticeship it was decided that he would succeed Grim as leader of the ranger corps, bringing jealousy from Sanne, but it was short lived. Their first official ranger mission together ended with a trip into Gerudo and Garth's death at the hands of their king. Frantic, Sanne tried to take his wounds to save him but was too late and almost killed herself in the process.
After that- Sanne was never really the same. She became cold and hostile towards people that were usually her friends, and spent the last of her teen years traveling by herself. The end of her lonesome travels came with her nineteenth birthday when she met a Hylian pirate named Gai and began to travel with him in hopes of bringing down the Gerudo king.

Wanting to travel freely, she became a postal flier; someone who flies letters and parcels back and forth from Skyloft to the Surface. This job allows her to travel freely as opposed to being shipped out as a knight to protect a certain area. As such, she knows much about the surface and has been many places delivering mail.
