Työpajassa nuoret helsinkiläiset rakentavat tähtitaivaasta innoituksen saaneen suojakuoren suojaamaan Happihuonetta pimeiden talvikuukausien ajan. Tyäpaja on osa Valon voimat -kaupunkifestivaalia. Tähtikuviot muodostuvat rei'itetyistä vanerilevyistä, jotka työpajan osanottajat itse suunnittelevat ja työstävät. Levyt ruuvataan paikoilleen suojaamaan ikkunaruutuja ja muodostamaan yhtenäisen tähtikuvion. Tähtien valonlähteenä ovat Happihuoneen sisään ripustettavat energiansäästölamput. Jos nykyisellään Happihuoneelle energiaa toimittava Helsingin energia ei voi pitää yllä energian toimitusta talven yli, hanketta varten hankitaan vaihtoehtoinen energianlähde. Vaihtoehtoinen energiamuoto tukisi Happihuoneen ja o2 Finland ry:n ekologisia arvoja. Teoksen luoma tähtien valo säteilee ohikulkeville junille, satunnaisille kulkijoille ja talvisäässä hölkkääville. Valaistessaan yö- ja päiväunia teoksen valo luo toivoa tulevasta valosta.

The workshop invites young people of Helsinki area to imagine their own constellation of stars, to protect the Happihuone green-house (Töölönlahti) over the dark winter months. With the aim to contribute to the Valon Voimat Festival, the constellation of stars are actually patterns of holes designed by the workshop participants, transfered and drilled into the wooden panels that will be installed to protect the glass-house walls. The work designed on the boards will be lit up from the inside, using energy saving light bulbs suspended at variable heights within the space. If Helsingin Energia can not keep open the power supply for the winter, a renewable or alternative energy source will be sought for the period of the light installation, maintaining the sustainable ecological interests promoted by Happihuone and o2 Finland ry. Lit up from the inside to sparkle and wink through the long dark nights at passing trains, easy-going strollers and winter joggers, the constellations will be night and day-dreams for hopeful times to come.
