The Brian Boru Harp--named such even though it is not actually linked to the High King of Ireland from eleventh century--is the oldest surviving Irish harp and is the model for the insignia of Ireland. The Harp is made of willow and oak and has elaborate designs, brass strings, a silver neck mount, and embedded crystal.
