Additional covers include May ("Victor/Victoria," featuring Julia Andrews); June ("Poltergeist"), which also marked the first issue of Cableview's full-size magazine for Colony Communications, featuring Al Pacino ("Author! Author!" with a cover story written by Andrew Sarris); July ("Rocky III" and Sylvester Stallone); August ("The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and Dolly Parton); September ("Reds" with Warren Beatty, and a Showtime production of "The Hasty Heart" starring Cheryl Ladd); October ("The World According top Garp" and Robin Williams); November (Paul Newman of "The Verdict," and "An Officer and a Gentleman" starring Richard Gere); and December (Jessica Lange in "Frances," and the Jon Voight film "Table for Five"). CableView, which was based in New York City, and later in Edgewater, N.J., produced guides for cable systems around the country.
