O meu sábio coração
E sepulte a cicatriz
No palco da solidão
Que possa este pobre homem
Saciar a sua fome
Nos braços de sua amada
Ou que cada mulher perdida
Seja por ele querida
E dê vida sua alma!

Because I can not live
Without who else made me happy
Take for nothing what says
My wise heart
And bury the scar
On the stage of solitude
May this poor man
Satisfy his hunger
In the arms of his beloved
Or that every lost woman
Be by him deared
And give life to his soul!
