Earlier today I got on an IRC channel that I hadn't chatted in for months now. There was a lot of catching up to do with the regulars there. As I shared all of the exciting stuff I had been up to during 2020, I realized that I had, indeed, made an impact on other people's lives\u2014a feeling that we don't often take the time to cherish and value. We don't always remember the fact that other people are watching, that our children are watching, that strangers are watching. We are easily shamed when we are caught doing something embarrassing. But when we do the things that we love doing and are passionate about, others notice\u2014and they'll see the energy and devotion that we put into those things. And that energy spreads to anyone who sees and is inspired by it.

My current passion for photography was largely inspired by other people's work, whether their composition was stellar, their editing awe-inspiring, or their philosophy thought-provoking. There are far too many of them to list here, but if you passionately share the things you are passionate about, know that someone, somewhere out there, is watching, and you *do* have an impact on others.
