* Free plant photos from Turkey (Antalya and Konya provinces) and Britain (Edinburgh and Cumbria particularly). Mostly from Turkey at the moment but more are being added and there will be about 3000+ species in due course.

* The aim is that this should provide lots of
freely usable photos of plants and some plant galls showing their fine details for any purpose, you don't need to ask permission
to use them unless bulk commercial, and you don't have to give any credit for them if that's a
distraction for your production (of course it's certainly good practice
to include author,
location & date for traceability reasons, but that's up to you).
They would be of particular use for botanical productions such as PDFs, books etc. These plant photos were taken by myself. For bulk commercial use, read

Files are stored as zipped jpgs : the zip file is named by the
latin binomial (or
more than one) with hyphens for spaces - bear in mind latin names change
so look under a number of appropriate synonyms. The browser Find
feature will help, easiest using one of the two name parts. Where the
latin is ambiguous (as sometimes is the case), the authority name is
appended. Inside will be an
_info.txt providing useful details such as location, the photos in a helpful order, and sometimes extra resources.
