This high resolution geo-referenced TIF image has been photographed from the original map in parts using a high resolution DSLR Sony a77ii camera. The images were processed in Photoshop Elements 2019. The resulting images were rectified, geo-referenced and stitched together using Global Mapper on the WGS84 datum. Rectification and geo-referencing was done in multiple runs starting with the coordinate grid working down to match the photographs along the seams. Due to the creases and wrinkles in the original map small positional differences may exist in the final product. After geo-referencing and rectification an additional (exact) 2800 m Eastward (90 degree geographic bearing) shift has been applied to match the chart with the Gebco bathymetry and other topographic information. No attempt has been made to identify local differences in this shift to allow a reverse operation if required.
