Mir Sher Muhammad Khan Talpur was the last Talpur ruler of Mirpur Khas, Sindh. He was born in 1810. He was called by the local people as the pioneer of the freedom struggle of Sindh because after the fall of Hyderabad at Meeanee, Sindh, it was he who tried to liberate Sindh from the occupation of East India Company forces at the battleground of Dubbo. Hence the Pioneer of the Freedom Struggle of Sindh.
