Norma by Vincenzo Bellini (1801-1835). The Covent Garden Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Vittorio Gui with Maria Callas, Ebe Stignani, Giacomo Vaghi, Mirto Picchi, Paul Asciak and Joan Sutherland. Recorded at the Royal Opera House on November 8, 1952. It was La Divina's London debut. Note that a young Joan Sutherland was part of the cast. This 3-LP set was not issued by a record company; it is labeled as "Private Record - not for sale". Transfer by Bob Varney.
