Prudence, Robin and Eli at Frank and Teddi's house in Middle Valley. Looks like xmas, 1973.One time someone gave me several porcelain stand-up urinals. Very heavy items. I used one for a pig feeder and it was just the ticket. It was stout enough that the pigs were unable to effectively move it and large enough that it held plenty of food. I was feeding them corn mash, so they weren't really doing much moving of anything. That stuff gets seriously alcoholic. In any event, I still had too many urinals, which I happened to mentioned to Frank one time in passing (no pun intended). Well, in no more than a moment, he says to me, "Robin, I'll take one of those!" Teddi and Prudence were in the room and Frank was no quiet talker. I remember Teddi got real interested real quick. Their house would have been easily visible on approach but for a hillock not much bigger than the house itself that effectively blocked it from view. People who weren't familiar with exactly where they lived regularly drove past it. Frank continued, "I'm gonna put that sucker right there at the head of the driveway and plant some flowers in the drain. Then I can tell people, yep, just drive up Middle Valley and turn right at the first urinal on the right!" As you might imagine, I remained stuck with the same number of urinals. :(
