Normally I wouldn't bother with anything HBO Max releases on their Giphy account unless it ties directly to Cartoon Network just because there's been an overload of gifs uploaded to that account that I'm not even gonna bother to do a full account retrieval, but I'm highlighting these ones in particular since they're touting this as an amplification of "Latinx" voices, and an upcoming feature for HBO Max subscribers to pay attention to.And if there's a couple of things actual Latin Americans don't like hearing from Americans are American-born Latin Americans or extremely liberal Latin Americans (who are all probably white as fuck) speaking for an entire group of people by only amplifying what they think is acceptable by playing extremely safe with their content and lacking all the punches; and also using the word "Latinx" to describe the group, something that actual Latinos on Twitter will tell you is just another yankee-doodle invention made to pretend they're being inclusive when in reality, they're just being insulting.
And naturally, this is gonna give HBO Max more subscribers and more revenue because you Americans love to pretend you're being inclusive when really you just want more brownie points.
