Frank Loui King was the director of the University of the Pacific's Conservatory of Music in the 1880s, and then the dean of the King Conservatory of Music in San Jose from around 1895 until his death in 1914.
Originally donated to the San Jose Historical Museum by an unknown donor; part of History San Jose's Music Collection, Catalog No. 1997-215-205.
