QUIRK: ice specter - able to phase through solid objects & manipulate ice. with no heat regulation, she cannot use her ice ability for long without freezing herself.

an arrangement made from a quick marriage; for power, to see what they would create. for generations since the evolution of quirks the li family seemed to be good at making the best arrangements. they bore heroes from their long lineage; paragon figures who sought clout for their familial honor in china. she was their first disappointment.
born to shufen & li, the former with a specter quirk and the latter with an ice manipulation quirk, she was the perfect blend of their powers; and such was apparent from a young age. she was a troublesome child, disappearing by phasing through walls, freezing rooms & frosting over herself to the point of worry. her reckless use of her quirk made her a danger to herself and others; and to control it she was taught to keep her emotions under lock and key. it worked, for a long time she was without incident, but as she grew older her parents talked of arranging her own quirk marriage- for the good of the li family, as was their tradition.
unwilling to go along with such a thing, she sought instead to go to UA & become a pro-hero there. While it wasn't easy; she did make herself a name as a transfer student to UA's hero course and studied there for the duration of her school career.
