By that time, Thiyagi Thileepan's 12 days of fast exposed Congress party India's betrayal. The world doesn't get to know about this story yet. In 2009, ethical country Tamil Eelam destroyed and Tamil Tigers ceased to exists, still India and Sri Lanka continue to do it's propaganda to erase the history. But, Tamil Tigers, when they lived, did extensive documentation while they fought against Sri Lanka's genocide. Heavy efforts in destroying Tamil Eelam historical documents took place right after 2009, but not all the historical documents were destroyed. Many still exists to tell the story. For Tamil Diaspora, it's important to preserve the history as the history belongs to future generations. Throughout the last thousand years history, three decades of Tamil Eelam history from 80s to 2009 was when Tamil's lived with dignity even though there was war with intermitted peace talks.

In 2002, the last peace talks was facilitated internationally by the Norway with support of USA and Japan. During the peace talks time, even western and Europe took a wrong side and favored State actor genocidal Sri Lanka and banned non-State actor LTTE hoping that it will have influence in the south Asia as India manipulated western politics. They destroyed Tamils but at the end, China got it all in their hand and now own most part of that Island. For Tamils in the world, Thileepan is in their hearts for ever, and it also make them remember congress party India's betrayal. Whether India like it or not, for Tamils Thileepan is way higher than Ghandi.
