On December 4, 2016, we visited the Jewish Museum in the village of Steinbach am Glan, Germany. The Jews here were all wiped out by the Nazis; the museum holds history and artifacts donated by families who had emigrated before the Holocaust. The town was historically a coal mining town and some of the Jews were in the diamond industry, explaining some of the exhibits. The photos are amateur and the captions are in German. The volunteer guide was delighted that I could read soem of the Hebrew for him and explain some exhibits he did not fully understand.
