Instagram description: Tim, you and your family are probably the most photographically-inclined out of everyone I've met at the skatepark. Your mom wants to be a photographer in another universe and your sister calls herself a professional. As for you, you really push me into getting the shot (which is not always easy, trust me!), and it's always a joy whenever I impress you with my actually-not-Photoshopped photos. You're always crushed when I have to leave\u2014and I'm crushed too, since it's hard to have to leave when the going's good.

I still remember that day in July when we stayed out till really late with Shady and the rest, all of you trying to get photos when it was really dark. I had done low-light photography before, but this was a whole new beast. For one, the skatepark gets crazy dark; and two, I was trying to get action shots, which is really hard to do at night. Still, though, shooting at night is not an opportunity I get very often, and you guys really challenged me to do my best even when it was pitch black out.

Anyways, that's what I've really been thankful for. Thanks for all the challenges! And if your sister ever wants to be a photographer when she grows up, I can give free lessons.
